The Crispello bar from Cadbury has only 165 Calories

The chocolate bar, which advertisers claim is only for women, will be debuted by British company Cadbury, now part of Mondelēz International.

Crispello will be smooth as silk and refreshingly crunchy. Made out of 3 parts, this chocolate bar will be eaten on 3 separate occasions, innocent minds at Cadbury believe.

The weight-loss feature comes from the addition of wafers, that replace the creamy chocolaty interior other dangerous, weight threatening bars have. Wafers are not only lighter on the calories, but most likely on production costs.

This product was announced right after Crispello's parent company split in two, and this appears to be a desperate measure to get back into female customers' good graces.

The Crispello is made out of “three curved crispy wafer shells, each one filled with a smooth creamy center, dipped in Cadbury milk chocolate,” Cadbury reps state for the Guardian.

The 3 pieces of chocolate are available in a resealable pack, probably to help women eat just one at a time. The three have 165 calories between them.

The idea of pre-regulated portion control has sparked a bit of outrage among female rights activists, that believe they are being patronized, Business Week reports.

“A little treat for you,” the British campaign tagline for the Crispello chocolate will say to women. “Particularly for women” is considered ridiculous and demeaning, as well as ironical towards those who actually fought for gender equality.

“Products aimed at women always seem to treat women more like children than thinking adults,” social media consultant B.L. Ochman says, addressing the issue of useless gender branding.

The wrapper of the chocolate bar is purple, instead of pink, as some jokingly said it would be. Cadbury is set to spend a whopping $11 million on its new marketing campaign.

The Crispello chocolate bar should be out in stores for the third day now, in Britain.
