Get ready to listen again the tunes of your youth

It was a complete madness in the 1980s when games like Arkanoid, Tron or Sanxion appeared and put everybody under their spell. Huge amounts of games followed and those who had the opportunity played as many titles as they could. And now, just thinking about those days, those games which would make any 10-year old laugh, the mono sounds surely bring back a lot of sweet memories.

If that is the case, C64Audio.com might have an antidote, something to make your pain bearable: a collection of some of the best Commodore 64's songs, remixed, re-created and ready for you to listen and bring back those 1980s memories! BMX Kidz, Comic Bakery, Sanxion, Arkanoid and Ghouls or Ghosts tunes are injected into hits like Two Tribes, Too Shy, Billy Jean, Broken Wings and I Feel Love to create brand new experiences and a 70-minute album called Syntax Era - Remix 64, Volume 3. The only thing that really surprises me is that I haven't heard about the previous two volumes!

Anyway, it really seems that, with Syntax Era, you can finally hear what Depeche Mode might have produced had Rob Hubbard ousted Alan Wilder, how Matt Gray's influence could have rubbed off on The Sisters of Mercy and The Shamen, and what Martin Galway would have sounded like as one of Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five. And coming full circle, the album concludes with an entirely C64-originated cover of Yazoo classic "Only You" with vocals by Eliza Zoot. Just imagine how you would feel listening to these tracks while playing Halo 3 or COD4!

So, if you are interested, go grab yourself a copy and enjoy the 70 minutes of sweet memories! Syntax Era - Remix 64, Volume 3 is what you're looking for.
