As the cast for the next installment in the Command & Conquer series, Tiberium Wars, was selected not long ago, the games' publisher, the mammoth gaming corporation EA has decided that they also want to bring a little bit of "Tiberian" adventure to Xbox 360 gamers.

The games' developer also wants to bring a little bit of downloadable content to the Xbox Live Marketplace, and the first dashboard theme featuring some concept art will be available soon. Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars for the Xbox 360 will be developed by the same studio which also developed The Lord of the Rings and The Battle for Middle Earth II, EALA studios to be more exact.

The story of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is set in the year 2047, and continues the conflict between the GDI (Global Defense Initiative) and the Brotherhood of Nod. In the month of March, 2047, the Nod unleashes chaos when they launch a nuclear missile to a GDI orbit station. The GDI take immediate action as they hope to defeat the Nod once more.

What is new in Tiberium Wars is that once you have completed both Nod and GDI campaigns, you will be able to choose a mystery faction. Little is known about this third mysterious faction, and given the fact that there is no concrete information, I can't make assumptions or speculations.
