Electronic Arts has announced that Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is set to be released in stores on March 16 in North America and three days later in Europe. The real time strategy title should be the last outed in the Tiberium universe by the publisher and aims to provide a fitting end to the struggle among GDI, Nod and the alien Scrin while unveiling the truth about long term character Kane.

EA is also saying that those who pre-order the game will be getting exclusive access to the beta stage of Command & Conquer 4 and will also be receiving the official soundtrack of the game and a bonus mission that takes place before the events of the game.

Mike Glosecki, who is the lead producer of Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight at EA Los Angeles, stated that “Finally, fans will learn what happens to Kane, Nod, GDI, Earth and Tiberium when Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight hits store shelves March 16th. We can’t wait for fans to experience the trademark C&C action with the new level of strategic depth we have added, especially with our new experience system.”

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is set to bring some pretty radical changes to the series, which has been going for about 15 years and spanned close to a hundred years. All the players who will engage in the campaign should choose a class when they begin their experience and that will be used to progress in the level and gain new abilities.

Each of the missions can be tackled either solo, with computer-controlled sides helping the players, or co-operatively, with players combining their specialization in order to be more effective. The new Command & Conquer is also set to offer 5 versus 5 multiplayer matches, while the story mode should close up all the loose ends the series is famous for.
