14 DAY TRIAL // Colton Haynes, the handsome guy playing Jackson Whittemore in MTV’s relatively new show “Teen Wolf,” will not return for a third season.
MTV has already denied ongoing rumors, saying the cast will come back to the small screen next season, but word online has it that Haynes is done for.
Speculation about his departure started with a mysterious tweet that popped up on his feed, as JustJared can confirm.
“These past few yrs have been the best of my life. I’m sad that this chapter has ended, but excited for a new one to begin. Thx for the love,” the actor and model wrote.
Naturally, everyone assumed he was talking about “Teen Wolf.”
“[There is] absolutely no truth that Colton is being pushed out or that he, or any cast member, is being replaced. We love Colton and look forward to his returning with the entire cast for season 3 of Teen Wolf,” a spokesperson for MTV says.
So far, no further explanation from Haynes.
