Colorful, a Chinese hardware maker well known for its custom graphics card designs, has just revealed a series of new images depicting one of the company's upcoming GeForce GTX 560 Ti solutions targeting the enthusiast market.

The name of the card wasn't revealed, but the pictures provided give us an idea about how will this solution look like, and perform, when it finally makes its entrance into the market.

The images showcased by Colorful divulge that its upcoming GTX 560 Ti will have an 8 phases VRM which gets its power from a series of three 6-pin PCI Express connectors, a setup which should be able to provide 300W of power in total.

Eight GDDR5 memory chips are installed around the GPU area in order to provide 1GB of video buffer connected to the latter through an 256-bit wide bus, and all of these will be cooled by a massive heatsink that covers most of the card.

This uses no less than 10 heatpipes from drawing the heat away from the GF114 core, which then will be dissipated by what appears to be two or three high-diameter fans.

The most striking feature of this card isn't however the oversized heatsink used, or the powerful VRM design, but the inclusion of a pair of add-in slot.

These are installed on both the front and the back of the PCB, with the latter being at least double in size than the front-mounted slot.

We don't know what these will be used for in the retail version of the card, as the PCB doesn't feature any third party controllers that could explain their presence.

Details about the clock speed or the price of the card also aren't available, but Tweak Town says that this GTX 560 Ti solution will be released in November.

In related news, we have just recently found out that Nvidia is working on a new version of the GTX 560 Ti that will increase the number of streaming processors to 448. More info about this GPU is available in this previous article.
