Since a good design element often proves lucrative on multiple types of products, Colorful seems to have decided to take the shark-fin styling it used on several recent video boards and implement it in its newest PC case.

The new enclosure that the company has prepared is known as the Raynor Tower and utilizes the ATX mid-tower form factor.

As such, it measures 190 x 490 x 510 mm and, being constructed out of SECC steel, for the most part at least, weighs about 8 kg.

Internally, there are tool-free drive retention knobs and perforated expansion slot covers, as well as enough room for even the largest video cards on the market.

This means that even such boards as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 and the AMD Radeon HD 5970 are supported, and this was supposedly verified by testing 100 different cards.

Another benefit is the existence of an opening behind the CPU socket area, which should make it easy to install coolers with back-plates.

Colorful also implemented a 120 mm fan, set on the front, for intake, although there is also room for a similar fan on the back and a pair of 140 mm spinners in the top.

The side panel can also act as support for yet another two 140 mm fans, while the many holes available ensure that cable management is not an issue.

Design-wise, the chassis is coated in black on the inside, even the tool-free drive retention knobs, while the control and front panel are set on the top.

All in all, this newcomer should act as a good housing for any gaming or enthusiast-grade systems that need both looks and performance.

Those interested in this device will have to pay $60 for it when it starts selling, at least according to what reports currently suggest.
