Video conferencing and collaboration tools are set to become even more important on the future, and this is exactly the reason one ClearOne has developed and launched the Collaborate, an all-in-one voice, video, and data collaboration console.

Since we're talking about an all-in-one, pre-configured and pre-installed solution, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that it's actually a whole lot easier to work with than a regular online communications' solutions, while in the same time making very good use of the same unified communications software or web services carry out voice and video transmissions, as well as data exchanges.

The main component of the Collaborate platform is the integrated ClearOne HDConference audio conferencing system, but equally important are the 46-inch HD LCD monitor and the HD USB video camera that accompany it.

The aforementioned components are attached to a central computer running Windows, and all the applications required by the collaboration solution, whether we're talking about video, audio or data.

In fact, since we're on this topic, we'll also have to mention that ClearOne's solution is designed to work very well with software coming from Avaya, Cisco, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Skype, and Yahoo, among others.

Additional components of the system include a ClearOne Soundbar speaker for clear transmission of audio conversations, as well as a ClearOne microphone pod, plus a wireless keyboard and mouse used for operating the central computer.

Last, but certainly not least, we'll have to mention that the Collaborate solution from ClearOne should become available in late June 2011 and will come in three mounting options (wall mount, credenza or with a media stand), pricing ranging from $3,199 to $17,999 depending on the configuration and options.

Indeed, these price points might seem a little high, but we're quite sure that their cost is far smaller than what companies usually spend on business trips for their executives.
