Considering that it has just been a day since AMD released its newest video cards, one can be sure that its partners will hastily reveal their own models, if they haven't already, much how Club 3D showed off its new HD 6670.

The AMD Radeon HD 6000 series of graphics adapters may have been up and about for months, but it had yet to cover the whole of the mainstream segment, not to mention the low-end one, before yesterday.

Fortunately, the Sunnyvale, California-based company finally resolved that problem, although the announcement was a long time coming.

More specifically, yesterday, the AMD Radeon HD 6670 and 6570 were formally released, sporting low profile designs.

They are actually stronger than what users would expect to find in a HTPC, but faster is always better, especially for add-in boards (AIBs) selling for under $100.

Now, Club 3D has completed its own vision of the HD 6670, and it looks like it ditched the low profile PCB in favor of a full-height one.

The GPU clock speed is of 800 MHz, while the 1 GB of GDDR5 VRAM operates at a frequency of 4,000 MHz. Furthermore, the memory interface is of 128 bits.

As for cooling, a single-slot solution is present, “which makes you enjoy your new video card without compromising on your perfect computing environment.”

Needless to say, DirectX 11 graphics are supported, like on every other current-generation graphics adapter from AMD or NVIDIA.

Other specifications include the AMD HD3D technology (speeds up access to multimedia applications and enhances productivity), Blu-ray 3D support, an integrated HD audio controller, CrossFireX support (for multi-GPU setups) and the AMD PowerPlay power management technology.

Finally, online stores should have the Club 3D Radeon HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5 up for order soon, if they don't already, for the price of roughly $99.
