It seems that new and strong AMD graphics cards aren't the only thing coming out, as Club 3D decided it was as good a time as any for its newest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti to make its appearance.

As some end-users will no doubt have learned, Advanced Micro Devices just released its newest and most powerful graphics adapter.

The board is known as Radeon HD 6990 and is a dual-GPU product quite a bit stronger than the HD 5970, which had been holding onto the performance crown for many months.

Of course, since the 6990 is now out, it won't be long until NVIDIA's own such board is released.

Said face-off will, naturally, be interesting to see, but that particular, top-tier board is definitely not all that NVIDIA, and its partners for that matter, are working on.

Apparently, Club 3D wanted an extra means to land more orders, so it officially unveiled the GeForce GTX 560Ti CoolStream OC Edition.

As its name implies, it is factory overclocked and boasts a different cooling solution from the one on the reference card.

Things that did not change about it include the number of CUDA cores, that being 384, as well as the amount of GDDR5 memory (1 GB) and the connectors (dual-DVI and HDMI). The 256-bit VRAM interface was preserved as well, naturally.

Basically, the clocks are the distinguishing features, them being of 4,100 MHz for the memory (instead of 4,008 MHz) and 880 MHz for the GPU (822 MHz originally). Meanwhile, the shaders work at 1,644 MHz.

As one may guess, the extra performance implies more heat generation, so Club 3D utilized a dual-slot CoolStream cooler, with two fans and three copper heatpipes.

Full information may be found here and online stores should already have the model on pre-order at 233 Euro.
