Oh my God, Clonezilla strikes again! Just take a look at this portable media player. The Chinese player from Bright Computech was dubbed "not so bright" MC-39SF (science fiction).

We'll start with its capabilities and save the best for last. Being a portable media player it's only natural to support some common file formats on the market, such as Mp3 and WMA for the audio files and MTV format for the videos. There is also a JPEG compatibility for the photo browsing option. It comes packed in various storage capacity sizes of 512MB, 1GB, 2GB and a maximum of 4GB version. At least it's 100% flash memory incorporated in it.

As for the media player's design, all you could say it's: "Wow!" Why? Well, this China PMP looks identical to Nokia 7280 mobile communication device. Anyway, the media player displays a minuscule 96 x 64 pixels resolution, on a pure OLED screen display that shows up to 65.000 colors. It also supports mini USB 2.0 file transfer interface. Additional technical specs mention something about a built-in FM radio listening and recording functionality.

The sound performances are said to be easily improved using one of the integrated seven EQ settings. Sadly, there is no speaker included in the media player, therefore private listening is the only choice, via one of the two 3.5 mm earphones. Two of these basically means you'll be able to share the music with another person, after all. Moreover, it can also be used as a voice recorder.

As they claim, the MC-39SF can go for six to eight hours on a single charge, using a rechargeable battery and features an S/N ratio of 85Db. The PMP's dimensions are of 72 x 28 x 11mm. It weighs about 26 grams. Interested in the player? No price and availability details, yet!
