A short while ago, the most unexpected news broke: legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood, a man known for his very private ways, would open the doors to his house for a reality show in the manner of the Kardashians. The National Enquirer has gotten to the bottom of this.

In the latest print issue of the publication (story via here), the tabloid claims to have it on very good authority that the only reason Eastwood agreed to be on a reality show is because his wife is trying to launch their daughters' career in showbiz.

In other words, Dina believes the exposure the family would get on the show would benefit their two daughters Morgan (15) and Francesca (18), in that it would launch their career.

From the very first day he was let in on the plan, Clint was opposed to it, the report says, citing sources close to the A-list family.

However, in almost no time, he had to give in to the demands of the 3 ladies of the house – but at least he made sure he set his own terms and conditions for this to happen.

“Clint’s an extremely private guy and hates the idea of having TV crews around the house, peering into their everyday lives. After a lot of arm-twisting, Clint finally agreed. But he said he would only appear in a few cameos, at the very most,” the insider reveals.

“Clint’s wife and daughters begged him to do it, so what could he say? They wore him down. It’s clear who wears the pants in his family!” adds the spy.

Dina wants an acting career for Francesca and a modeling one for Morgan, the tipster goes on to say. Oddly enough, she also believes having cameras around will make the younger daughter more focused on school.

“In fact, Dina is hoping that having the cameras around will provide LESS drama for Morgan. Dina’s hoping that having cameras around will make her settle down and concentrate on school, among other things,” says the family source.

For the time being, no release date for the Eastwood show has been announced. Word on the street is that it will premiere sometime in the following weeks.
