If you're a Labrador, a Siamese or a Husky then you'd probably want one of these for Christmas. The climate control carrier seems to be the best invention since the flea spray.

It uses patent-pending conduction/convection technology that turns on the cooling when the temperature reaches 72 degrees and starts warming when it is below 65. There is no need to be worried whether your pooch feels cool or not, as the carrier has been under a lot of testing and inspections by professional veterinarians.

Komfort Pets offers three different sized climate-controlled pet carriers and with a single flick of a switch, the owner can cool down or heat up the inside temperature of the carrier, so that any chubby pet can feel like traveling on business class. The carrier is powered by an electrical outlet or a car cigarette lighter, but there is also a built-in battery that provides temporary back-up in case of power failure.

Even more, according to Bob Inello, chief executive of Komfort Pets, the carrier "can provide sanctuary in unheated garage, equally useful for homes, cars, boats and Rvs".

Regarding the availability details, the smallest carrier, measuring 19 by 13inch, was especially designed for lap dogs or cats and comes available in ruby or silver color versions for a price tag around 400 bucks a pop.

According to Washington post, the medium and the large models of the carrier will be out later this year. The manufacturers have also released a pink version worthy of any rich girl's tiny dog.

There is no doubt the carrier is the best alternative for those that cannot live without their pets and take dogs and cats on trips with them. All you have to do now, is train you pet to turn on the climate system itself!
