Recent studies targeted at public opinion show that, at least in America, there are still quite a lot of people for whom climate change and global warming are merely “tales” which have nothing to do with reality.

Given the record breaking temperatures experienced by American citizens these past few weeks, 350.org finds it a bit upsetting that so many still remain oblivious to the transformations our planet is going through.

Therefore, this organization has decided to make ice carvings of the word “HOAX” and then set them up in the central areas of Washington DC.

They believe that, when seeing just how fast the ice is melting, more people will realize that global warming is not just a prank, but a serious problem we all must work together to solve.

Hopefully, they will be successful in their endeavor.
