Do you travel a lot but you're a family man at the same time? Then you really need to manage your time the best way, and also sync your activities with the other members of your family to spend as much time together as possible, and today I have a solution for you!

The name of this solution is ClearSync, and there are so many things to say about it, that I don't know exactly where to start... First of all, the last update of this calendar sharing application has just been released, and now support for the Mac and Linux platforms has been added, but this is only a small part of the picture. ClearSync 2 has a new features list that also includes automatic sync with the ClearSync Server, search events and contacts capability, automatic updates, non-tabbed edit dialog for events and contacts, the ability to import iCal calendars and to drag and drop events, as well as to create events "in place".

Unfortunately, syncing with Palm OS handhelds can only be done in Windows systems, but with the Boot Camp... I think it may work even on your Mac running Windows, although the producer didn't specify this on the official website yet. ClearSync allows you to create and edit multiple calendars, shared and private, contacts with name and info, and share them with other people, as well as selectively allow them to edit your calendars and contacts list.

As soon as you need to view your data, you can do this by using a free browser viewer that is able to run on any platform with Web browsing capability, on your PDA or using a specialized viewer for Windows, Mac and Linux. The Silver version is available for 19.95$/year, and the Gold one costs 59.95$/year, and both of them allow you to sync your data with the ClearSync server so if your storage device gets in trouble, no data is lost.
