Latest news inform us that Citroen Berlingo EV passed the driving test Xavier Chevrin had in store for it with flying colors.

Thus, the car made it across six African countries in a period of 38 days, leaving behind it 3,600 miles (5,800 kilometers) of both proper highways and rough terrain.

For the record, by rough terrain we don't just mean your average bump-in-the-road; on the contrary, we mean mud, stony paths, sand and dust.

According to its driver, Xavier Chevrin, the Citroen Berlingo EV's performances were so impressive, that once both he and the vehicle reached their final destination, he wasn't sure whether the crowd was cheering for him or for the car.

From where we stand, this accomplishment goes to prove that green driving is well within our reach.
