Those of you searching for a new dual-band Wireless N router will soon have one more option to check out as Cisco is getting ready to release the Linksys EA2700 N600.

The router has recently visited FCC’s offices, where it was spotted by Wireless Goodness as it won approval for operation in the 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz frequencies.

According to FCC’s own tests, the router can reach transfer speeds of up to 450Mbps, while also supporting every consumer wireless standard in existence, since this is actually an 802.11 a/b/g/n model.

Gigabit Ethernet is also there to round up the specs list, so the Linksys EA2700 definitely looks worthy of your consideration.

Sadly, no information regarding the price or the availability of this device was unveiled, but we tend to believe the EA2700 will be somewhat pricier than other similar routers out there.
