Animal cruelty is unlikely to boost the profit margins of the owners of Piccadilly Circus, who have been making more than pocket change for quite a long time, while taking advantage of vulnerable creatures.

Kangaroo boxing shows are no longer as popular as they used to be, mostly because PETA raised the people's level of awareness regarding the low level of hygiene, poor diet and high level of stress experienced by these misfortunate creatures meant to entertain the audience.

Not generosity, but low ticket sales is the main reason why Piccadilly Circus wants to drop the highly criticized shows. PETA activists have warned the authorities that this kind of entertainment poses great risks for the animal population already suffering in an unfriendly environment.

Weaken Rocky got tired of protecting himself from his opponent, while the crowd is cheering. Since the early beginnings of these barbaric performances, two creatures have died and many more are likely to follow the same path.
