You all know “Fight Club” despite the fact that the first rule of Fight Club is that no one is allowed to talk about Fight Club. It's the 1996 novel that generated a lot of hype when it was turned into a movie in 1999, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton and created a virtual cult following.

Now, the author of the novel, Chuck Palahniuk, has revealed more details about the comicbook sequel to his book. Chuck has teamed up with Dark horse Comics to make this project reality and has already announced a 10-issue maxiseries illustrated by Cameron Stewart.

The comics are due to come out in May 2015 according to USA Today, and the synopsis has already been made available. Here's what you can expect from the sequel.

“Fight Club 2 takes place alternately in the future and the past. It picks up a decade after the ending of his original book, where the protagonist is married to equally problematic Marla Singer and has a 9-year-old son named Junior, though the narrator is failing his son in the same way his dad failed him.”

Speaking about the iconic character of Tyler Durden, Palahniuk mysteriously quipped, “Tyler Durden is something that maybe has been around for centuries and is not just this aberration that's popped into his mind.”

He also claims that readers will be able to form an opinion about Tyler Durden's true origins. The author promises to bring back most of the characters in the original book, as well as the organization known as Project Mayhem.
