A few days ago, the market researches revealed that the online shopping websites are expecting an impressive number of customers seeking for gifts and presents for friends and families. Today, another study states that many of these pages are not ready for their clients because they are full of bugs which might make the parent company lose important customers. According to Web User News, the study was conducted by SciVisum, the firm which revealed that some visitors might start looking for another online shop due to several types of difficulties encountered while viewing products.

It seems like one of the most common problems appeared while shopping online was the incomplete websites as well as "self-emptying shopping baskets" as the study sustains. Moreover, there are a number of more serious problems such as errors which make a shopper access other's products.

"Christmas has always been make or break for retailers, so it amazes me that in the season of good will retailers are prepared to test the patience of consumers by serving up websites riddled with problems," Deri Jones, chief executive of SciVisum, said according to SciVisum. "Our study found that people wanting to buy goods online would come up against a number of problems from self-emptying shopping baskets and incomplete web pages to session swap incidents - where two users see each others' online sessions."

Since the holiday season is quickly approaching, the online shopping websites have to repair all the reported issues in order to be sure that their offering will have a powerful impact over the buyers. Imagine that a simple error or glitch encountered while visiting a website might make a visitor leave the website and look for an alternative. Moreover, the number of the online shopping technologies is continuously increasing so all the consumers can find a new service in a matter of minutes.
