This is the second year for Christina Aguilera as a mentor / judge on NBC's highly popular singing competition The Voice. Below is a video of an interview she recently did with Jay Leno to talk about it.

The singer, who has seen her fair share of bad press in the past couple of years for various issues pertaining to her personal life, was very open to Leno about everything, from the show, to her trips to Disneyland and her relationship with the late Etta James.

Looking stunning in a body-tight dress, Aguilera greeted her fans with lots of “I love yous,” smiled and waved at them, and then set out to talk about the process of finding the right voice for The Voice.

She told Leno she believed in the show since day 1, from the moment she first heard the concept: that of auditioning for contestants without seeing them, by simply listening to their voice.

To this day, Christina remains very excited about the show – and she makes it a point of being very involved in every step of the process.

She says she's always working with the members of her team, brainstorming to come up with the best song for them, the one that can put their talent on display best.

She also keeps in touch with the other judges, turning for them for advice and counseling when she hits a dead-end.

As for her sometimes snarky relation with Adam Levine, Christina says it's all in good fun: they're both professional, they love and respect each other very much, and they're grown-up enough to know how to take a joke.

“They’re all like brothers,” the diva says of the chemistry of their little group, herself, Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton.

“We have a great banter together, but at the end of the day, honestly, we can all tease each other and talk about each other, but we’re like family. If we hear anybody else talk about them, it’s like wait… not funny anymore,” Christina explains.

Asked by Leno whether there might be something more to the banter between herself and Adam, Christina jokes, “Eww! He’s like a brother… or a sister!”
