14 DAY TRIAL // One rarely gets to see Christina Aguilera without her impeccable makeup on – but this is one of those few times. The singer stepped out with boyfriend Matt Rutler over the weekend, in minimal makeup and casual clothes.
Though few would dare question Christina’s vocal skills, many have done so where her style and styling is concerned, especially in recent months.
One of the things that’s always bound to cause a stir online on dedicated communities is the amount of makeup she always seems to be wearing, which is referred to by the not-so-politically-correct term of “drag makeup.”
To state out a fact, while she may look good on camera, Aguilera’s face always seems caked in foundation, artificial bronzer, lipstick and eyeliner.
This was not the case the other night, when she stepped out in minimal makeup and very casual clothing, as the Daily Mail also notes.
Granted, there was a hint of eyeshadow and some lipgloss on her face, but, other than that, not much else, which even prompted some talk about how she doesn’t even look like the same person who walks the red carpet at various events.
With most fans, it was a welcome change – judging by comments to various articles and blog posts on the makeup-free night. Then again, it’s probably just a matter of taste.
In other Aguilera-related news, reports are coming in that she’s being quite a diva backstage on The Voice, where she makes such impossible demands that even Adam Levine, the nice guy, is growing tired of her.
As we also reported a few days ago, word online has it that Aguilera insists that producers do several takes of the same scene she’s in if she believes she didn’t look too good in the first one.
She’s also being “prissy” and “annoying,” driving the entire team working on the show, including fellow judges and staff, insane with her nasty attitude, reports claim.
