Christina Aguilera is one of the few pop icons to walk in the shoes of a “natural-born” perfume designer and to do it so well. The latest, Inspire, was just launched recently, at Macy's Glendale Galleria in LA. The new fragrance is especially designed to combine modern and classical notes, floral and juicy hints that will appeal to each woman searching for something to match her unique personality.

Inspire is an exquisite mixture of floral delicacy and the fresh textures of fruity scents – one would first encounter sweet freesia and mango notes, only to be dazzled a few moments later by the tuberose and rose heart notes. The base notes of sandalwood and Valencia orange leave a powerful impression on the mind (and on the skin), and will definitely “remind you not to drift along with the crowd, but will inspire you to stand up for what you believe in and strive for your dreams.” Quite convincing, one might say.

The surprising contrast of youthful Audacity and classy elegance that the singer has been looking for with this fragrance is reinforced by the pear-like shape of the perfume bottle and the modern cap design.

The delightful Inspire perfume comes with a shower gel and a perfumed body lotion from the same line, both especially designed for those relaxing, peaceful hours when a woman needs to pamper herself in every way possible. The perfume comes in 30, 50 and 100 ml capacities, and can easily be slipped inside a purse before going out the door, just for the fun of carrying along one of the things that can always be cheerful and “inspiring,” as well as for the little occasional touchup.

The blonde singer revealed that “the fragrance celebrates being a woman, full of femininity and fun.” The fact that the perfume is meant to bring back the Eve within all women shouldn't really be a surprise for anyone, especially when considering that Christina herself has proven to be, since her early debut, a self-confident, audacious and multifaceted role model. Growing up brought her not only fame, but also the wonderful chance of re-inventing herself whenever necessary.
