After taking some time off to see to his beautiful family, Jennifer Lopez is preparing to return to the music scene with a brand new album, named “Love?” Until the material itself drops, fans have a couple of singles from it to pass the time with, including “Fresh Out the Oven” and “Louboutins,” the latter of which Louboutin himself says he truly loves.

As fans must already know by now, “Louboutins,” the single, is about a woman realizing that she’s stuck in a relationship without a future. She chooses to walk out on it to live her own life and, as the track progresses, the focus falls on the red soles of the iconic shoes, as the woman is walking away. When asked about how he felt about the song, French designer Christian Louboutin reveals he’s extremely pleased with the singer’s choice, as People magazine can confirm.

After all, she could have picked another famous brand for the title of her song, but she chose to go with the timeless elegance and desirability of the Louboutins. “Jennifer told me about the song back in January, and I was extremely flattered,” the designer said in a recent interview. Lopez didn’t even have problems pronouncing the name. “But of course, in America the public pronounces my name in like a million different ways. So Jennifer called me, and she was like, ‘Listen, I want to make sure that I get it right.’ And she did… from the very first time!’” Louboutin further says.

What with the release of the track, the designer is looking forward to further developing the new relationship he has with Lopez. In exchange for naming a song after his creations, Louboutin has agreed to design for her a few pair of shoes that will be exclusively made for the video for the single. Knowing the long tradition of the Louboutin brand, as well as the creativity that goes into all the creations coming from it, Jennifer Lopez will probably be rocking some stunning shoes in her next video, they say.

“According to Louboutin, who claims to already know the song by heart, Lopez mentions his name 45 times (‘Trust me, I’ve counted!’) in the three-plus-minute dance track. We can’t wait to see what comes next in the Louboutin-J. Lo love fest: the stiletto master is hard at work creating shoes for the eponymous music video, set to film next month,” People confirms.
