14 DAY TRIAL // Because he always manages to lose himself in whatever role he’s playing – I mean, more so than other actors – whenever Christian Bale is working on a new movie, the world pays attention, especially if the role also requires a physical transformation on his part.
As I noted the other day, the Oscar-winning actor was recently photographed looking considerably heavier than the last time he was on the big screen (in “The Dark Knight Rises”), which got people thinking that it was a for a new role.
As it turns out, this is true: click on the image above to see it in full. It’s of Bale on the set of his new film, the Untitled David O. Russell/Abscam Project, which is now shooting in Boston.
Not only is he heavier, but he’s also sporting longer and greasier hair, and a bald spot which isn’t entirely visible in this photo but you can guess it’s under the combover.
