A student at Sparkman High School in Harvest, Alabama has hung himself after accusations related to a football game.

15-year-old Christian Adamek ran through the football field at a school game without any clothes on.

The Christian Post informed that Adamek hung himself last Wednesday and he was described by his peers as an energetic young man.

"There are two kinds of people in the world, ones that brighten the room when they walk in and those that don't. He was one that brightened the room when he walked in. That's what I'll always remember about Christian," David Silvernail, Adamek's Boy Scout Troop master, shares.

He ran through the field without his clothes on during his school's September 27 game against Grissom High School.

He was warned about facing legal charges in the Madison County court system. The school also disciplined him, AL.com has reported.

"There's the legal complications. [...] Public lewdness and court consequences outside of school with the legal system, as well as the school consequences that the school system has set up," Principal Michael Campbell explains.

The joke turned into a nightmare when Adamek faced expulsion, according to a statement made by his sister.

The Madison County school district has issued a statement, expressing condolences and mentioning that they have "received word that a Sparkman High School student has passed away."

"Our prayers and thoughts are with the family during this time of bereavement," they note.

Adamek's classmates have taken to Twitter to express their grief about the suicide.

"Praying for the Adamek family. Christian was so funny and nice. He will be missed by so many," a female student writes..

"No parent should ever have to bury their child. [...] Rest in peace Christian," a second student adds.
