Late last year, after Chris Brown’s “Graffiti” album dropped, the singer was taking to Twitter to tell his fans that the industry was boycotting his material, with several stores refusing to display the CD in areas where it could be seen properly. It would seem that this still goes on, with Brown now taking to SayNow to plead with his fans to help him stay relevant.

In the message that Chris left to his fans, he explains that he’s a changed man and he’s done anything in his powers to redeem himself in the eyes of the public for the Rihanna incident of February last year. However, for some reason or another, radio stations remain indifferent to his efforts and refuse to play his music, which automatically means he’s not getting exposure for his music and his comeback is not as successful as he would have wanted it to be.

The fans are the only ones who can help, Brown believes and says in his SayNow message. “I ain’t never really did this but right now I need all of my fans’ help. It’s crazy because a lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records. They’re not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. It’s on the fans and what you guys do in your power to bring me back because that’s all I need. Nothing else will do that except for the fans. There’s nothing else that I can do. I’m doing everything that I need to do. I’m doing me as a person and I’m a better guy,” the star says.

The message is clear: if fans rally up, radio stations will be forced to play his music again and he will be relevant again. “My singing and my music I do it for you guys and everything else but it won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio and it wouldn’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have any support. I can’t be an underground mixtape artist. That’s where we are. I just want all my fans to help me. I love y’all. Peace,” Chris Brown continues to say.

Judging by the messages left by the fans on his official page, his phone call to SayNow and his plea will return the expected results. Many comments there urge fans (and fansites) to join forces and help Chris ascend the charts again and thus regain the place that’s rightfully his in showbiz.
