Chris Brown has repeatedly said that he's not the same man who, 3 years ago, attacked his then-girlfriend Rihanna in a fit of rage and beat her to a pulp. According to a woman he reportedly hit on, he now uses that as an ice-breaking joke.

It's not a secret that many industry people are still not ok with what Chris did and, more importantly, with how he's been welcomed back in the spotlight, with wild applause and standing ovations.

Similarly, it's not a secret that many fans felt they could no longer connect to his music, knowing what they did about him as a person, namely that he had some anger management issues.

If you happen to be one of them, the latest report will not do anything for you in terms of forgiving Chris.

A woman tells the latest print issue of Us Weekly (story via here) that he actually used a pick up line meant as a joke on domestic abuse on her.

She claims not to have worked but says that Chris and his entourage were very amused by it.

“Chris Brown… confidently approached an attractive brunette February 10 at [a] Grammy gift lounge and asked her, 'Can I get your number? I promise I won’t beat you!' the woman tells Hot Stuff. [US Weekly],” the publication writes.

“He and his friends laughed, then one yelled, 'That’s his new line!' Ugh! I wanted to throw up!” an insider further explains for the same media outlet.

“I’d be surprised if Chris said something that stupid,” Brown's rep tells Us Weekly, asked to comment on the so-called offensive joke.

In a separate statement, this time to TMZ, Chris himself denies such a thing ever happened, saying he would not even dream of joking on such a topic.

“That is absurd and absolutely not true. I did not say that nor would I joke about that,” he says.

This is the third time in less than a week that Chris is making headlines for the assault case opened 3 years ago: first, Miranda Lambert attacked him on Twitter, saying he had no right to perform at the Grammys 2012, and then, he responded to haters on the same social networking website, saying he didn't care about what they had to say against him.
