14 DAY TRIAL // Chris Brown has a new single (and album) to promote so, naturally, he’s doing the rounds in the media. His most recent appearance was on The Today Show with Matt Lauer and you can see it in full below, embedded at the end of this blog post.
Chris talks about how he’s a changed man, how he learned that what he did to Rihanna in 2009 when he beat her to a pulp was “wrong,” and how he doesn’t really care what haters say about him anymore because he knows how to shut all that negativity out.
Be that as it may, but not everybody is happy to see Chris on The Today.
Reaction to his appearance on the show has been extremely violent, with many taking to Twitter to vent: some can’t believe that Lauer would show him this much sympathy, while others are simply outraged that NBC would be so desperate for ratings as to invite a convicted woman beater on.
