Chris Brown might have grown tired of all the negative attention he's receiving but, if he did, he sure has a funny way of making it go away. The star is now accused of “robbery by snatching” after he reportedly stole a girl's iPhone.

It all went down the other night, as Chris and his entourage were getting ready to go home after a night of partying, TMZ reports.

Things took a turn for the worse when he noticed that some girl was snapping pictures as he was getting into his car and, for some reason, he decided to take action against her.

TMZ doesn't say whether Chris was doing something in particular to make him not want the pictures to get out, or if he was simply trying to protect his privacy.

Whichever was his reason, he could go to jail if he's found guilty.

“A rep for the Miami Beach PD tells TMZ, 24-year-old Christal Spann filed a police report Sunday for 'robbery by snatching' – claiming she followed Chris and rapper Tyga out of Cameo nightclub early in the morning... and snapped a picture of Chris getting into his Bentley,” TMZ says.

“Christal told cops, Chris flipped out when he saw her camera phone – then grabbed it through the car window, saying, '[Expletive], you ain't going to put that on no website',” notes the same report.

He then sped away with the girl's phone, which constitutes robbery.

“A rep for the Miami Beach PD tells us, no arrests have been made and no warrant has been issued yet. We're told the incident is currently under investigation,” TMZ says.

Since Chris Brown is still under probation for the assault against Rihanna 3 years ago, if he's found guilty, he could actually get jail time.

A publicist for the singer was not immediately available for comment at the time this came out.
