Singer is a “Changed Man”

Chris Brown was issued a five-year restraining order against Rihanna, his former girlfriend, whom he is not to approach or speak to under any circumstances because of the incident back in February this year. As such, the only way in which Brown can tell Rihanna that he misses her is via his Twitter or the media, which is precisely what he did the other day, as RadarOnline informs.

Apparently overwhelmed with emotion and, most importantly, regret, Brown first took to his Twitter to let fans know he was having “one of those days.” He also included a link to a YouTube video (which you can also see at the end of this article) that showed photos of him and Rihanna from their happier days, mostly paparazzi shots taken of the two either on vacation or on the red carpet. His song “Changed Man” plays in the background.

“His first post ‘sorry yall, just one of those days’ links to a YouTube video with pictures of him and Rihanna in happier days with the lyrics to ‘Changed Man’ playing. Then his second post is ‘MY HEART IS INCOMPLETE... the part that is complete is my love for fans, career, friends, family… god. but im [sic] missing someone or something.’” RadarOnline says of Brown’s somewhat unexpected Tweets.

However, as the paparazzi / celebrity news agency also points out, given the restraining order, Tweeting is Brown’s only way of sending a message out to the woman he beat and can no longer contact now. “Don’t forget, Chris has a restraining order and a tweet is as close as he can go to Rihanna, the R&B singer has been ordered to keep his distance from her for five years.” Radar further writes.

Surprisingly enough, fans have not remained unmoved by Chris’ unexpected love declaration for Rihanna, judging by their comments on YouTube. Granted, some of them do make a point of saying that one has to learn to live with the consequences of one’s actions, but most are convinced that the video + song combination slash love declaration is the clearest indication that Chris Brown knows he made a mistake, but is willing to make amends for it and start all over again.

Rihanna has not yet responded to Brown’s “declaration,” but, seeing how she hasn’t said anything since the scandal began, chances are she won’t say anything this time either. Watch the video below and see whether Chris Brown’s message strikes a chord with you too.
