Rihanna's former boyfriend Chris Brown just got out of rehab after 16 days of treatment and will continue his program as an outpatient, while completing his community service in LA.

The 24-year-old singer voluntarily entered the rehab program for anger management after being accused of punching a fan who wanted an autograph. As if that weren't enough, rumors said the singer was self-medicating with weed and alcohol, feeding his aggressiveness.

Brown entered the rehab program with the goal of “gaining focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point,” according to E! News.

Even if he found the best rehab facility in the world, 16 days are not enough to treat anyone with those kind of problems.

The singer is still on probation after the 2009 assault incident involving former-girlfriend Rihanna and after allegedly being involved in a hit-and-run accident in the summer.

Even if the hit-and-run charges were dropped, the “Run It” singer still has to serve an extra 1,000 hours of community service until August 25, 2014, courtesy of the judge who was not satisfied with his progress.

Chris was supposed to be in rehab for at least three months, “the rehab facility has been told to take him apart and put him back together,” a source tells TMZ. It is hard to believe they could have done that in a little over two weeks.

The reason why Brown left the treatment program so early is because of the pressing community hours that need to be finished until the summer, according to his lawyer. Even if he isn't be in the Malibu rehab facility, Chris will continue his treatment as an outpatient, working on fixing his anger issues and self-medicating problems.
