Chris Brown has tried to fake his way through community service after his assault conviction in the domestic violence charge against ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

TMZ has learned that Brown submitted doctored records of his time doing community service in Virginia. He allegedly served the time by picking up trash.

He was originally sentenced to 180 days of community labor (1,440 hours), but he has now been awarded an extra 1,000 hours.

This time, he won't be able to perform the service in Virginia. He has been ordered to serve the hours in Los Angeles, in the presence of county officials. He will be off probation in August 2014.

He gets to choose between cleaning highways, the beach, enroll in probation alternative work services (PAWS) or clean off graffiti.
