14 DAY TRIAL // Majic Jungle Software is addressing a number of reported issues with Chopper 2 for Mac via a free update which brings the game to version 1.2.1. Chopper 2 is the highly-anticipated sequel to the popular Mac and App Store classic Chopper.
First off, we’d like to inform our readers that Chopper 2 for Mac and iOS are both still on sale at an insane 80% off.
Chopper 2 features 36 missions over 12 locations, a completely re-written 3D game engine, all new enemies, weapons, and graphics.
The sequel retains the classic side scrolling game-play where players must either escort a convoy of vehicles across the desert, or defend a train from enemies emerging from underground mines.
“Use your laser sight to line up enemies emerging from stairwells in the city. Chase down lines of enemy tanks and choppers while avoiding heat seeking missiles, gunfire and bird strike,” says Majic Jungle Software.
“Help your allies defend against advancing armies, and rescue stranded civilians, all while trying to complete your mission as fast as possible for the highest score,” the developer explains the basic gameplay scheme.
As noted above, Chopper 2 version 1.2.1 is a free update that fixes a number of issues with the Mac port.
What's New in Version 1.2.1 - Fixes many connection issues with the remote control feature, including the conflict with MobileMe - Adds support for non-QWERTY keyboards (configurable controls will come in a later update) - Fixes the situation where you could accidentally unhide the dock, or trigger Exposé while using mouse control in full screen. - Fixes issues with the computer going to sleep while using the remote control feature.
Chopper 2 for Mac can be played both via mouse & keyboard, as well as from an iPhone or iPod touch.
To employ the latter control scheme, players must use the remote control feature in the iOS version of the game to wirelessly control the Mac version over WiFi.
