Low-end Android tablets keep on flooding the market at an alarming pace, the latest such devices to be unveiled coming from a hardware maker that goes by the name of Chinon.

If you haven’t heard of Chinon so far, it’s because the company has concentrated on building iPod docks, digital photo frames and other similar gadgets.

The Swift 7 and Swift 10 tablet are Chinon’s first Android slates and both of these are equipped with ARM Cortex A8 1.2GHz processors paired with the usual contraptions, such as a 2MP front webcam, WiFi networking, microSD slots, as well as built-in microphone and speakers.

The rest of the features include 4GB of storage space and an 800x600 resolution display in the 7-inch Swift model, while the Swift 10 has a 1024x768 screen and 8GB of data space.

Prices start at $159.99 (about 121.5 EUR) and can be ordered right from the company’s website, but don’t expect to find Ice Cream Sandwich in any of these, as they both run the 2.3 version of Android.
