The Chinese government has announced it will be lifting the ban it imposed on American singer Lady Gaga nearly three years ago. At the time, the decision was made after it was determined that her music was vulgar and “in poor taste.”

Now, Lady Gaga will see her newest album “ARTPOP,” released unaltered and in full on the Chinese market. It's hoped that this move will improve the album's sales somewhat, considering that it met with lukewarm reception in Europe and in the States.

Gaga took to Twitter to announce the news and also express her excitement: “"I'm so excited!!!! The Chinese Government Approved 'ARTPOP' to be released in China with all 15 songs! Next I hope I can come to perform.”

A tour for the album is currently in the works, and the singer is probably hoping to add some Chinese venues to her list of the ARTPOP Ball Tour.

Earlier this month, Gaga took to her website to apologize to her fans for the poor performance of her latest album and also pinned the blame on people close to her for being to greedy and wanting her to fail.
