A statement issued by China's State Council says that the country is ready and willing to bend over backwards to make sure its solar capacity increases to well over 35MW by 2015 at the latest.

Given the fact that the Chinese solar power industry is still in its early days, this means that the country will have to install 10GW of solar capacity in each of the following three years, Business Green informs us.

This measure will surely help improve on the country's ecological footprint. However, it appears that this matter is one of little concern for the country's high officials.

On the contrary, what they want is to boost national economy by lending a helping hand to solar panel manufacturers and marketers.

Needless to say, the latter were quite thrilled when hearing the news that the government wanted to help them overcome the challenges they had been faced with over the past few months.
