Two trains have collided in the Chicago suburb of Forest Park today, injuring about four dozen people. No casualties have been reported at this point.

According to CTA spokeswoman Lambrini Lukidis, the crash took place at 8 a.m. in the Harlem station.

An out-of-service train crashed into one scheduled to get out of the station and that was not moving at the time.

There were no passengers on the train not scheduled for service today. Officials have not provided the exact number of passengers on the second one as of yet.

The Chicago Tribune quotes Forest Park Mayor Anthony Calderone, who details that 48 people have been transported to 10 hospitals in Chicago with non-life-threatening injuries.
