Actor Peter Mayhew, who starred as Chewbacca in “Star Wars” and doesn’t go anywhere without his lightsaber-style cane, got into some TSA trouble because of it. Upset over the incident, he decided to vent on Twitter.

The actor was traveling from Denver, where he had attended Comic-Con, to his home in Texas, when he was held up by the TSA because of his fancy cane.

“[They] won't allow me through the airport with me cane!” the actor tweeted with the photo above (click to see it in full).

After this tweet, things seemed to go more smoothly because, within minutes, he was allowed passage, cane and all.

“In Dallas,” Mayhew wrote hours later, “Thank you to @AmericanAir for checking on me. Problem was all @TSA. I'm a million-miler on American and they are a class act.”
