She may have been sensationally dropped from the American version of X Factor, which premiered just recently, but Cheryl Cole is not done with television just yet. Word has it she may be getting her own show in no time.

Fans loved her during her time on the British X Factor – and the cameras certainly love her as well. If everything goes according to plan, Cole may be back on the small screen very soon.

“The former ITV star is defecting to Channel 4 and is said to be in talks with them about a range of projects,” Celebrity AOL informs.

Among them is also one that would see her as the star of her own fashion-oriented show, with the petite singer aiming to make one that would be well above average, says a source who claims to be familiar with negotiations.

“Channel 4 is working with her on a variety of ideas as what she’s interested in doing is something with a bit more depth to it than just a frivolous fashion show,” the insider reveals.

Doing a fashion show would also help Cheryl silence haters who claim she’s nothing but a popstar who was lucky enough to catch Simon Cowell’s attention, which, in turn, made her one of the highest female earners in showbiz in the UK.

“A lot of people only see Cheryl as a pop star who had a stint on The X Factor – but she has more strings to her bow and is raring to make a comeback,” the spy explains.

Fashion and music have always been her biggest passions, and a new project to focus on the former would definitely help her return into the spotlight.

“Cheryl is hugely passionate about fashion – it’s the thing she loves most after music,” the insider goes on to say.

Chanel 4 was contacted for comment on the above, with a spokesperson saying that, while they are talking to Cheryl about the possibility of doing a show together, everything is still in the early stages to say clearly whether the collaboration will happen.
