It uses a 2.4 GHz wireless USB nano receiver and optical technology

As far as wireless mice go, optical ones are pretty standard. Technically, wireless mice themselves have become quite normal across the board.

That's why peripheral makers have been trying their best to include at least one quirk or special perk when they design new ones.

The Cherry MW2400 mouse stands out, in a roundabout way, because it lacks such unique features. It's, all in all, a pretty normal product.

And in the same ironic twist, this might be enough to lead to more sales than usual if enough companies learn of it, because it's a pretty streamlined peripheral that will make your workspace seem clearer, and your work flow smoother.

After all, it lacks a cable, which is always a good thing. And because it's got the normal black, 3-button look, it doesn't take long getting used to.

Spec-wise, the Cherry MW2400 3-button mouse uses a 1,200 DPI optical sensor and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi technology, by means of a USB nano receiver.

It even has multi-user capability, allowing more than one user in an office to direct the cursor. Good for collaborative presentations.

So I suppose that last bit could mean that the newcomer does, in fact, have a special perk. It's still pretty well hidden under a veneer of ordinariness though. It's such a shame that no price was disclosed.
