A man in the United Kingdom now works as a window cleaner after being forced to quit his job as a chef. Oddly enough, the man did not decide on this career change on his own accord.

On the contrary, Metro tells us the 31-year-old man was forced to seek employment elsewhere due to a very rare medical condition he is suffering from.

Thus, Rob Griffith’s has leguminophobia, which is basically an irrational and very strong fear of baked beans. Simply put, he feels faint whenever he sees this type of food.

“I get shaky and I just have to run if they’re anywhere near me. It's very distressing,” the man comments on how this rare condition influences his day-to-day life.

“I was a pub chef and breakfast was hard. Staff had to prepare the beans while I hid in the back,” 31-year-old Rob Griffith explains his decision to quit his job as a pub chef.

By the looks of it, this man is so terrified of baked beans that he cannot even get near them in the supermarket.

Although he does not know for sure, Rob Griffith suspects he developed this condition when he was just a child and his brothers kept throwing beans at him.
