One week after the last, massive Street View imagery update, Google is unveiling one of the most exciting places yet, Monaco. Granted, it probably didn't take Google that long, Monaco is the world's second smallest country, but there's plenty to see in the world famous and glitzy location.

"Last week the spotlight was on Monaco for the royal wedding between Albert II, Prince of Monaco, and Charlene Wittstock," Kei Kawai, Senior Product Manager at Google, writes.

"Today we are excited to announce that we are bringing Street View in Google Maps to the glamorous principality," he added.

"Monaco may be the second smallest country in the world, only the Vatican City is smaller, but it has many interesting sites and roads," he said.

There are several things that come to mind when thinking about Monaco, the casinos and the Formula One race probably being the first.

"You can now explore the streets made famous by the annual Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world. The circuit snakes around the principality and is known for its tight corners and the legendary tunnel," Google said.

There's plenty more to see, you can check out the famous Casino Monte Carlo or just explore the winding roads of the city or the harbour. It's a great chance to catch a glimpse of everyday life in a place that you regularly get to see in the movies.

It's strange that Google didn't manage to roll out the new images in time for the big update last week, but this makes the Monaco launch even more notable.

The small country is now the thirtieth where Street View imagery is now available. Since it such a small place, pretty much all of it is covered, even with its small, crowded roads.
