Samsung’s AMOLED tablets are finally coming and you’ll be able to stare them in the face on June 12 at the Galaxy Premiere Event.

The Korean tech giant released its single AMOLED tablet to date back in 2011, but since then the company contented itself with adopting the technology for its flagship smartphones.

With the advent of the Galaxy Tab S lineup, Samsung will again offer this advanced display technology in tablets once again.

But Samsung also has the premium Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO line of tablets on the market, so you might be wondering why the need for a new batch of high-end devices.

Samsung is trying to push the boundaries in terms of display quality and this might be just what demanding users need. The crucial difference between the PRO line and Tab S is that the first are touting LCD screens and not AMOLED.

Of course, Samsung will market the new tablets by putting emphasis on the improved quality of the AMOLED display, but we all know images speak louder than words.
