Victorian/Steampunk laptops take customization to the next level

Most consumer laptops you can purchase today come with the same rudimentary look. They sell with a black, gray or white paint job, and apart from the company’s logo engraved on the lid, there isn't be much to tell them apart.

But customization can be achieved in a sense and I’ve seen many notebook owners personalize their devices by adding all kinds of stickers on the lid.

Gaming laptops upgrade things a notch in the design department, as some brands offer engraving options, backlit keyboards and so on.

But what if you crave something more? What if you’d like to own a laptop that’s more like a piece of art?

Website Datamancer has listed a bunch of Victorian / Steampunk laptops that look incredible to behold. They are based on an ASUS gaming laptop equipped with an Intel i7 2670QM processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a glossy 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution) screen.

There’s no price-tag attached on to these laptops, but judging by how incredible they look, they will certainly cost a lot of money. Nevertheless, the maker doesn't mention if they are for sale or not. Even so, check them out for yourself.
