They can use virtual feathers to display the hours and minutes

There are lots of digital clock apps, but actual hardware for displaying the time isn't exactly stylish, not to the same extent as, say, smartwatches and even ordinary wrist watches.

So the digital wall clocks revealed by Saglio, a design student at ECAL in Switzerland, might gather quite a few followers.

Well, there are actually three clocks, and they're more along the lines of hybrids than anything else, with both analog and digital features.

The screen is a digital panel that shows the time in one of several ways, but to wind it, you need to twist the key at the bottom.

The screens stay blank most of the time, but when you pull, push or twist the key, they display the time either as an image or animation (of up to one and a half minutes).
