In case you didn't know and want to find a way to justify your plastic fetish to your friends, significant other or your mother, the Assassin's Creed Mega Bloks sets are now intended for adults.

The toys have made an incredible jump, from being kids' toys to being prized items for adult collectors to enjoy and treasure, without doing pretty much anything.

Ubisoft, the maker and publisher of the Assassin's Creed series of action-adventure video games, announced that a licensed line of Mega Bloks products would be released around a year ago, and now it seems that they're finally shaping up and getting ready to embellish desks all around the world.

The deal initially sparked a great deal of controversy, mainly due to the fact that one of its stated goals was to expand the brand to a younger audience, which might be ill suited, considering all the murdering going on in Assassin's Creed.

In any case, the toys are pretty harmless by themselves, and just as many other licensed merchandise such as the Lord of the Rings or Star Wars have extensive toys aimed at kids, so too can Assassin's Creed have.

In any case, that seems to be no longer the case, as a recent entry on Ubisoft's blog states that the six planned sets are designed with adult collectors in mind, and feature a ton of detail and sophisticated articulation.

The six announced sets

The revealed sets are Da Vinci's Flying Machine, including an Ezio Auditore micro figure, sword and accessories, and a buildable glider with real tarp material.

The Cannon Strike set includes an Arno Dorian micro figure (with a detachable hood), as well as buildable cannon and environment and the character's gun and sword.

The Borgia Guard Pack consists of one Assassin and four Borgia Guard micro figures, a buildable fast travel portal, and weaponry and accessories.

The Pirate Crew Pack comes with one Assassin and four Pirate micro figures, complete with accessories and weapons, as well as a buildable pirate cove display environment.

The Fortress Attack set is the first meatier offer, consisting of one Ezio Auditore micro figure, with custom outfit options, one Borgia Guard enemy micro figure, a buildable three-story fortress with a working lift, and weapons and accessories for the two characters.

The sixth and final set, titled Gunboat Takeover, features an Edward Kenway micro figure, three allied forces micro figures, alongside accessories and weaponry, and a buildable ship with real canvas sails and cables.

The Mega Bloks website also lists a seventh set, titled French Revolution Battalion, sporting one Assassin micro figure, four enemies, and a flag post.
