Developer Veliz Mobile has created an iOS application that consists entirely of cheats, tips and tricks for players of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, the latest installment in the popular third person action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal.

With the app, players can obtain “the most used cheats, tips and tricks for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood,” Veliz Mobile notes.

These include cheat options, capes, costumes, maps, rare paintings, Assassin Guild Challenges, full synch requirements for Courtesans, and more.

The app works offline, since it carries the database within it, according to its makers. It costs $0.99 and requires iOS 3.0 or later.

A few legal notices are highlighted by Veliz Mobile, including the fact that this app acts as an unofficial guide for unlocking various pieces of game content, “and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the creator of this video game or its licensors.”

The app does comply with the US Copyright law guidelines for "fair use," the developer claims, while all characters, their names, places, and other aspects of the video game described within the app are trademarked by their respective owners.

Finally, Veliz points out that their application “does not copy any portion of the game, nor does it contain screenshots of the game, only original text descriptions.”

Those who feel there is a direct copyright or trademark violation that doesn't follow within the "fair use" guidelines, are advised to contact Veliz Mobile directly.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the latest release in Ubisoft’s historical, third-person action-adventure video game developed for PC and consoles.

It was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2010, and it is due for release on Windows PC early this year. It is the first game in the series to feature a multiplayer mode.

A direct sequel to Assassin's Creed II, the game features Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles returning as the main protagonists.

The action takes place right after the conclusion of the previous game's story.
