There are three of them, all dual-core units with 65W TDPs

Advanced Micro Devices may be all about Kaveri right now, for the most part, but it seems there is some room for Richland chips still, if a recent report is true.

Sure, Advanced Micro Devices will launch some more Kaveri accelerated processing units for desktop PCs.

Nevertheless, by the time those show up, in the second quarter, the Sunnyvale, California-based company will have some other chips out as well, based on the Richland core.

They are called, or will be called, A-Series A4-4020, A4-6320, and A6-6420K.

All of them are dual-core chips with L2 cache memory of 1 MB and TDPs (thermal design powers) of 65W.

They differ in terms of core frequency, integrated graphics and memory controllers.

So, the A4-4020 has a base clock of 3.2 GHz, a top clock of 3.4 GH, HD 7480D graphics and a DDR3-1333 memory controller.

The Second chip, A4-6320, is better, with 3.8 Ghz / 4 GHz clocks, HD 8470D graphics, and DDR3-1600 memory.

Finally, the A6-6420K is, or will be, a 4 GHz / 4.2 GHz chip with HD 8480D graphics and DDR4-1866 memory support.

Prices are unknown, as are the exact ETAs, but since they are supposed to debut before the Q2-bound Kaveri refresh, this month is when the retail channel will see them emerge.
