“In this particular instance, I have no idea what I’m doing,” singer admits in interview

When Chaz Bono did Dancing With the Stars in 2011, singer, actress and mother Cher was more than upset when he was voted off, even taking to social media to blast the judges for constantly making fun of Chaz’s moves. This Monday, it will be her who will be in their spot.

Producers for the hit ABC dancing competition announced that Cher would be guest judging next week’s edition, standing in for Len Goodman. Naturally, she’s feeling the pressure of being the best judge possible so she’s turning to someone with experience for help: her son Chaz.

Speaking with ABC News, Cher admits that she knows too little about ballroom dancing but, at the same time, announces her decision to not let that stop her from giving the most appropriate scoring possible.

Cher has asked for Chaz’s help and she’s looking at a long weekend of study.

“I know that people take this seriously. I just don't want to be responsible for someone getting a different mark than a professional would give them,” Cher tells ABC News, admitting that she’s feeling a bit frightened by the idea that she might mess this up.

Having had the experience with Chaz, when she held the judges accountable for his being voted off and not making it into the finals, we imagine she wants to do her best not to find herself in the same situation she put them in back in 2011.

“I don't want anyone to not have all the breaks they would have with someone with expertise. I am a little bit worried about that part,” Cher says, admitting that, at the same time, she’s completely out of her element here.

“[Chaz i] coming tonight to give me tips! He said, ‘Mom, you don't understand how seriously people take this. I'm coming over tonight and... I'm going to tutor you.’ Obviously, I'm going to need all the help I can get. Someone's going to have to do some cramming with me,” Cher says, only half joking.
